Soria is the capital of the province of the same name. The province is part of the “Comunidad Autonoma” of “Castilla-Leon”. The city is located at an elevation of 1063 meters, its population is 40,000 people.
Soria is a quiet city, it preserves the whole artistic attraction of its most historical activity, the Middle Ages.
What can we find in Soria?
In the heart of the city you will find the "alameda de Cervantes", popularly known as "la dehesa". It is the most magnificent garden of the city, not only because of its location in the center of the city, but also because of its high cultural and landscape value. Here also exists hundreds and hundreds of species of vegetation.
Sorian cooking has achieved recognition and popularity, based on its lands products. It offers excellent meats, varieties of pork, lamb, deer, roe deer and wild boar. It also has good fish, crabs, trout mycology, niscalos, boletus, mushrooms of thistle and truffles.
